Always follow the posted speed limit, as it varies by road. AwAS cameras monitor speeding and red-light offences at selected locations, and any traffic summons incurred during the rental remains the driver’s responsibility.

Book directly through the ARACAR website by entering your rental dates, pickup and return locations. Compare the available vehicles, select any add-ons, complete the driver details and pay the required booking deposit. Your reservation and vehicle handover details will then be confirmed by email.
ARACAR provides pre-arranged vehicle delivery and collection at KLIA Terminal 1 and KLIA Terminal 2 (KLIA2). The exact meeting point, time and handover procedure will be confirmed with you before your rental begins or ends.
You must provide your original valid full driving licence, passport or government-issued identification, and the required booking details. Travellers from non-ASEAN countries must also provide a valid International Driving Permit together with their original driving licence.
Drivers from non-ASEAN countries must carry a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) together with their original valid national driving licence. An IDP does not replace your original licence, so both documents must correspond and remain valid throughout the rental.
Advance booking is strongly recommended, particularly for weekends, Malaysian public holidays, school holidays and peak travel periods. Spacious MPVs, SUVs and premium vehicles often have limited availability, so booking earlier gives you a better choice.
Notify the ARACAR team as soon as possible and provide your updated flight information. We will coordinate a revised handover time, subject to staff and vehicle availability. A RM70 after-hours surcharge per way applies when the handover takes place outside our operating hours of 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Your booking summary will clearly show the rental price, delivery and collection charges, selected add-ons, tax and refundable security deposit before payment—so you can review everything before confirming your booking.
Depending on the vehicle and host, either a full-to-full or same-to-same fuel arrangement will apply. Simply return the vehicle with the same fuel level recorded during handover.
