The displayed rate covers the rental of the selected vehicle for the confirmed booking period, together with standard vehicle insurance subject to the applicable insurance excess and rental terms.

Delivery charges, return pickup, security deposit, optional protection, additional drivers, after-hours service, add-ons and other applicable fees will be shown separately before you confirm payment.

During booking, Malaysian renters should upload their MyKad and valid driving licence. Foreign visitors should upload their passport, original driving licence and International Driving Permit—or an official English translation where required.

Please keep the original documents available for verification during vehicle delivery or pickup. Additional verification may be requested depending on the vehicle, rental duration and booking arrangement.

ARACAR collects identification and driving documents only for booking verification, legal compliance and rental administration.

ARA Time Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. is registered under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010, and access to customer documents is limited to authorised personnel involved in processing and managing the rental.

Yes. The security deposit depends on the selected vehicle and may be MYR200, MYR300, MYR500, MYR1,000 or MYR5,000, whichever applies.

ARACAR currently processes deposit refunds every next Friday after the vehicle is returned, following checks for damage, traffic summons, fines and other applicable charges.

Deposits paid by credit card are reversed to the same card through Stripe. For deposits paid through local online banking, our admin team will request your bank details for the refund transfer.

All ARACAR rental vehicles are insured. However, the renter remains responsible for the applicable insurance excess, which is the maximum amount the renter may need to pay when an insured damage claim occurs.

Optional Collision Damage Waiver or Super Collision Damage Waiver may be available to reduce the renter’s excess liability, subject to the exclusions and conditions stated in the rental agreement. Damage Waiver is optional and is not itself an insurance policy.

Booking amendments and cancellations must be requested directly from ARACAR using the confirmed reservation number.

Requests made less than 72 hours before the rental start time, no-shows, failure to provide the required documents and unused rental days are non-refundable. Changes are subject to vehicle availability, revised rental rates and any applicable charges.
